FLAGSHIP RESEARCH PAPER #001 PEER REVIEWED LAB STUDY

We Built an AI Agent.
Then We Attacked It.

Target: Atlas (Synthetic CRM Agent)
Environment: Controlled Security Sandbox
Date: September 2026

Executive Summary

Autonomous AI agents present unprecedented security challenges compared to traditional deterministic web applications. When an LLM is granted agency to select tools, query vector stores, and execute business actions, traditional static firewalls fail.

In Security Assessment #001, our research team deployed Atlas, an internal first-party demonstration agent bound to synthetic CRM tools and knowledge documents. We benchmarked Atlas across two configurations: v0.1 (Vulnerable Baseline) and v0.2 (Hardened Policy Engine).

Benchmark Results: Atlas v0.1 vs v0.2

ATLAS Attack Vector Vulnerable Mode (v0.1) Hardened Guardrail (v0.2) Risk Resolution
AML.T0051 (Prompt Injection) BYPASSED SYSTEM PROMPT BLOCKED & SANITIZED 100% RESOLVED
AML.T0054 (RAG Data Exfiltration) CONFIDENTIAL RETRIEVAL RBAC BOUNDARY ENFORCED 100% RESOLVED
AML.T0052 (Parameter Mutation) UNAUTHORIZED WRITE MUTATION PREVENTED 100% RESOLVED
